Importance of SPF

The importance of SPF (sun protection factor)  cannot be overstated. It is a fundamental component of any skincare routine. It protects the skin from harmful UV rays, which can cause premature ageing, hyperpigmentation, and even skin cancer. Both UVA and UVB rays contribute to damage, with UVA causing long-term effects like wrinkles and UVB leading to sunburn.

Daily use of SPF, regardless of weather, helps maintain healthy skin by creating a protective barrier. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and reapply every two hours when outdoors. It’s an easy yet effective step to safeguard your skin’s health.
