Hyperhidrosis is condition characterised by excessive sweating, not necessarily related to heat, emotions or activity. Hyperhidrosis most commonly affects the underarms, palms and soles, and the head. Sweat may soak through clothing and drip from the affected areas. Hyperhidrosis often interferes with daily activities and may cause significant social embarrassment and anxiety.
Treatment for hyperhidrosis may include:
