TXA for Melasma

Injectable tranexamic acid is a safe and efficacious option for melasma, a stubborn and often difficult to treat form of hyperpigmentation. Tranexamic acid is injected locally into affected areas, gradually lightening discolouration and evening skin tone. Suitable in all skin types and may be combined with other treatment modalities to amplify results.

Recommended course: 3-5 sessions, 2-4 weeks apart
