Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing process, promoting collagen and elastin production. Microneedling is commonly used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands to address issues such as fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. It typically involves minimal recovery time, with some redness or mild swelling lasting 1–2 days.

Types:

  • Manual Microneedling: Handheld rollers or stamps with fine needles.
  • Automated Microneedling Pens: Precision devices like Dermapen for targeted treatment.
  • Radiofrequency Microneedling: Combines microneedling with RF energy for enhanced collagen stimulation.

Benefits:
Improves skin texture, reduces scarring, and enhances absorption of skincare products.
