Exercise and Skin

Exercise and skin health are closely linked, with regular physical activity offering numerous benefits for your complexion. By increasing circulation, exercise helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to skin cells, supporting their repair and renewal processes.

Sweating during a workout also flushes out impurities, leaving your skin looking fresher and more radiant. Exercise also reduces stress levels, which can lower cortisol production and, in turn, minimise breakouts and inflammation.

However, it’s important to care for your skin post-exercise. Always cleanse your face after working out to remove sweat, bacteria, and dirt that can clog pores and cause irritation. A gentle non-exfoliating cleanser is ideal, and remember to reapply your SPF too.

Combining consistent exercise with a thoughtful skincare routine can significantly boost your skin’s overall health and glow.
