Eczema

What It Is:

Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes dry, itchy, and irritated skin. It often affects the hands, face, elbows, and knees.

What It Looks Like:

Affected areas appear red, scaly, and may develop small fluid-filled bumps or cracks.

Treatment:

Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturisers and cleansers. Steroid creams, antihistamines, or immunosuppressants may be prescribed for flare-ups. Avoid triggers like allergens or harsh soaps.
