Botox
What It Is:
Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A, that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles, smoothing dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated movements like frowning or squinting. Common areas include the forehead, crow’s feet by the eyes, and between the eyebrows, sometimes called the 11 lines. Some patients also like to target bunny lines, smile lines and marionette lines.
Results are noticeable within a few days for some patients, but most patients show full development within two weeks, and no recovery time is required.
Types:
Cosmetic Botox: Targets wrinkles and fine lines.
Therapeutic Botox: Addresses issues such as excessive sweating, migraines, and teeth grinding.
Benefits:
Provides a refreshed appearance, prevents deepening wrinkles, and has no downtime.
